Course contents

Soils, their origin and formation. Physical properties of soils. Soil moisture, Soil air and Soil temperature, soil classification and Soil survey. Soil colloids; soil reactions. Soil organic matter and soil organisms; soil and water conservation; Nutrient requirements and mineral nutrition of plants.
