ATR 301 — The Spirit World of the African

Course contents

This spirit world of the African. Spirit forces in African worldview. Cosmic forces such as witches, (the Bwanga, Nyame), the apparitions/phantoms, as well as the witch doctor. Divinities in selected ethnic groups. Good and malignant spirits. Witchcraft from African and western perspectives.
