Course contents
Blood glucose homeostasis. Glucose tolerance tests, performance and interpretation, diabetes mellitus. Formation of free fatty acid, ketone bodies and lactate. Plasma lipids, cholesterol, triglycerides, phospholipids and non-esterified fatty acids. Plasma lipoproteins and causes of hyper and hypolipoproteinaemia.
