• appreciate of traditional words and games for children and young adults
• appreciate the wholeness of traditional life
• identify and analyse children word/puzzles/riddles and games
• explain the process of collecting and documenting educational lore and games; and
• transcribe and translate educational lore

Course contents

Arts 283 New Definition and characterization of what constitutes traditional educational lore and games; explanation of why they exist and the threats they face; consideration for the creators/custodians, beneficiaries, contexts and circumstances of children lore and games.
