GDS 501 — Local Anaesthesia in Dentistry

Introduction to local anaesthesia, history, theories, management of pain and applied surgical anatomy. Local anaesthesia, advantages, disadvantages, and the armamentarium the local anaesthetic. Classification, mechanism of action and properties, complications of local anaesthesia.
