Course contents

The course studies Hausa traditional drama, its genesis and development to date. The changing roles of dramatic performances (wasa). i.e., play and drama will also be highlighted. Attention will be paid to some selected plays such as Wowwo. Wasan Gauta, Tashe, ‘Yar Tsana, Kalankuwa, etc.
