• identify the key functional and aesthetic requirements for residential interiors
• analyse user needs in residential buildings; and
• develop conceptual design and working drawings for residential building interiors

Course contents

Study of residential interior function and aesthetic requirements. Analysis of client-specific requirements. Schedule of accommodation and space requirements.Current trends plan and furniture arrangement for different rooms. Sections and elevations. Illustrations of furniture; Soft furnishings. Colour palettes. Perspectives.
