What you'll be able to do (official learning outcomes)

At the end of the course, students should be able to
demonstrate the understanding of computer hardware, software systems; and
translate 3-dimensional digital models into real objects using appropriate CAM software and application systems such as 3D printing

Course contents

In Computer Aided Design and Development, students are introduced to the use of computer software in design. Introductory digital 2-dimensional design exercises will be conducted. Basic knowledge and use of relevant software relevant in 2-D design and modelling will be the focus at this level.
