Course contents

Introduction: the purpose of the study of law and jurisprudence; nature, definition and scope of jurisprudence; meaning and functions of law. The relation of law to (i) justice(ii) morality (iii) religion(iv) law and social change; ethics, the relation of the above concepts to customary law.
