General principles of pharmacology. Definition of basic concepts in pharmacology: pharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmacotherapeutics, toxicology and many others. Drug administration: methods and absorption of drugs; distribution; biotransformation and excretion of drugs. Drug receptor interaction; dose - response relationship.
