• recognise the general principles of contract
• recognise legal rules governing contracts; and
• critically evaluate the relevant theories of contract

Course contents

Introduction to the Nigerian legal system; Court system; Sources of Law. Definition and elements of contract; offer and acceptance; consideration; intention to create legal relation, capacity to enter into a contract; illegal contract, termination or discharge of contracts.
