Course contents

Definition of Family in Islam: Importance, Basis from Qur’ān and Sunnah; Marriage: Preliminaries, Khitbah (Bethrotal), Contracts; Essentials - Ṣīgha (Offer and Acceptance), Shuhūd (Witnesses); Wilāyatu an-nikaḥ (Marriage guardianship); Sadāq (Dowry); Impediments (Permanent and Temporary); Rights and Obligations of Spouses.
