Epidemiology of hearing disorder- global, regional and local. Otological considerations for hearing loss. Embryology, organogenesis of the ear and vestibular system. Post-natal anatomical development. Otophysiology, physical, mental, speech developmental and hearing. Pre and peri- natal causes of hearing loss/deafness.
