• describe how quantitative analysis theory, techniques, and tools are used to support and facilitate managerial decision making
• apply mathematical techniques to problem solving; and
• calculate and interpret numerous statistical values and appreciate their value to the business manager

Course contents

Analyses, interpretation, and questioning of results. Mathematical concepts of beginning algebra and geometry. Determination of the reasonableness of results. Analyse results. Interpretation of results. Organization and presentation of information graphically, numerically, symbolically, and verbally. Financial modelling.
