Course contents

Basic concepts, nature and classification of solid wastes. Theory of solid waste collection, handling and disposal. Field sampling and laboratory analysis; characterisation of different types of solid wastes monitoring of solid wastes. Analysis of municipal, industrial, hazardous solid wastes. Waste management technologies.
