ESM 322 — Principles of Valuation II

What you'll be able to do (official learning outcomes)

• At the end of this course, students should be able to:
• advise on the value of landed properties
• undertake valuation for sale or exchange; 177
• gain understanding of different types of interests in property; and
• apply the knowledge in undertaking property valuation

Course contents

Analysis of sales and letting of freehold and leasehold property, use of valuation tables. Effect of income tax on sinking fund, premiums, surrender and renewals of leases.
