What you'll be able to do (official learning outcomes)

At the end of the course, students should be able to
acquire and explain the history of Ajami script in Hausaland, its variants as well as its functions and contemporary challenges; and
write the Ajami consonants and vowels

Course contents

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the earliest form of writing in the Language prior to the advent of Europeans, otherwise known as the Ajami script.
