MTS 223 — Introduction to Meteorology

Course contents

Basic principles of meteorology and its application to shipboard operations. Meteorological instruments and their application. Characteristics of various weather systems. Reporting procedures and recording systems. Application of meteorological information available. Practical assessment of reading and interpreting weather charts.
