Course contents

basic signaling and radiotelephone communications. Morse code. Flashing light, international code of signals. Distress, urgent, safety, and navigational messages. Basic theory of electronic navigational aids and instruments, such as GPS, AIS, SARIS, NAVTEX, EPIRB. Fathometers, lifeboat, radios, and speed logs. Continuation of chart work.
