Course contents

Definitions, meaning, nature, types, characteristics and processes of planning. Strategies of planning. The reasons for planning in developing countries. Planning in capitalist (market), socialist (command) and mixed (developing) economies. The models and theories of planning. The relationship between budgeting and planning.
