Drugs acting on the respiratory system. Asthma and anti-asthmatics. Pathophysiology. Types (chronic asthma, status asthmaticus), classes of anti-asthmatics (B2-adrenergic agonists, methylxanthines, muscarinic receptor antagonists, adrenal corticosteroids, cromolyn, leukotriene modulators, monoclonal antibodies).
