Course contents

Basic concept of mining and underground surveying techniques. Design of underground survey networks. Mine orientation, mechanical and optical shaft plumbing gyroscopic methods, laser and accuracies obtainable. Operation, sources of errors and accuracy obtainable for gyro- theodolite.
