Course contents

This course is a continuation of all 105, which is a prerequisite. Introduction to acoustic phonetics. What is acoustic phonetics? Acoustic analysis, e.g. frequency and amplitude, periodic and aperiodic sound waves, spectrograms, sine waves vs complex waves. Differences between acoustic phonetics and articulatory phonetics.
