IBI 102 — Advanced Composition and Comprehension

Course contents

Current Ibibio orthography and the components of the orthography. Composition with emphasis on spelling, punctuation, organisation, elaboration, and language use. Figurative devices. Comprehension exercises. Types of composition – narrative, explanatory/descriptive, argumentative, expository, dialogue. Formal and informal letter writing.
