Course contents

Arts 360 New Literary history among the Africans before the advent of colonization, in relation to oral poetry. Traditional drama and prose forms. Types of literary criticism in the pre-colonial era – preperformance criticism, communal editing, post-performance criticism etc. Modern criticism and the use of theories.
