Course contents

Elementary diatonic harmony in 2, 3 and 4 parts employing a harmonic vocabulary up to and including the chords of the Dominant 7th. The rules of melodic writing. The rules of harmonic writing. Construction and identification of triads on each degree of a scale (both major or minor). Composition of melody to a given lyrics.
