Course contents

General survey of the history and development of Western Music. Musical forms from the earliest times to the present day. The periods of Western Music history (Antiquity, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century). Musical types and forms of each period. Musical centres of each period.
